Another main area of concern for video game consoles, is graphics. Graphics have always been one of the most talked about topic among gamers. To be fair, gamers should only compare graphics with games that are exclusive to each video console. That’s because multi platform games may not be designed to fully utilize the potential in a video console, as the focus is on compatibility instead of performance. Everyone seems to be comparing graphics performance between the XBox and Sony Playstation 3 (PS3). From our own tests, Playstation displays 3D renderings with far more sharpness. And that can only be achieved with high end technology. The end result is that you get much more realistic environments. You don’t have to take our word for it, simply make the observations yourself.

And finally, all gamers should consider the list of exclusive games before buying any video console. This factor, by and large, depends very heavily on the individual personal preference. We can get away with graphics or CPU performance issues. For some, as long as the games are playable on the console, who cares. But if the gamer falls in love with a game, and must absolutely get his hands on it, then he is out of luck if the console he owns doesn’t support the game. So remember to check out some games, and see which console has your favorites on them.

To sum it all up, the PlayStation 3 (PS3) is a high end gaming machine. No doubt it has a slightly heftier price tag compared to the Xbox, but if you’re a true hardcore gaming fan, you probably wouldn’t mind the 50 to 100 dollars difference. That being said, I’m sure the executives at Sony firmly believes that true gamers know an excellent video console when they see one. And thus the decision to incorporate highly advanced hardware into the console, way ahead of its competition, even if it means bringing the cost higher. And I’m sure, in time to come, all true gamers will come to recognize that, and share the vision and excitement with the Sony executives.

Have you ever had the experience of going to a computer training center and realized how much computer stuff you don’t know? Iknow when I started in the computer industry in the early 90′s Ihad trouble just remembering my password after 15 minutes of one-on-one instruction, much less how the computer actually worked. Let’sface it, no one wakes up one day and says, I am a genius with this computer stuff. We all had to start some where and for most people, computers can be very confusing and intimidating. And that is where the computer trainer comes in. Oh yeah, the computer trainer. The person that knows everything about computers and will make learning your new computer skills easy and quick. Yeah, right, fat chance of that happening. Have you ever visited a large computer training center and wondered why computers are so confusing for the client or student? The answer is usually because of the computer trainer. Most trainers seemed to have forgotten what it was like when they first tackled the “wonderbox”. But over time, they developed magical knowledge that no one else seemed to have. So why would someone with so much so-called smarts not want to share their knowledge with their students? The answer is very simple. It makes them look smarter. All they have to do is through out a couple of big fancy-smancy computer words to the class and you are a genius. That is fine and dandy if a computer trainer wants to impress Bill Gates, but to the new computer user that just pulled the computer out of the box or was told by the boss they better learn that computer stuff, the trainer does the student no good. So what does a computer trainer need to do? The main thing is to remember how they felt when they first started using the computer and how they wanted to pull their hair out when they thought they would never learn the stuff. How they were afraid to even touch the computer. Computer trainers fail to realize not all the students want to become computer geeks and nerds. The everyday user want to know how to do the simple stuff like how to do a letter, track their finances with a spreadsheet, develop a slide presentation for their company or club, or make a simple website. A trainer needs to make the complicated world of a computer simple, easy and fun for the client or student. Let’s face it, not everyone is or wants tobecome a systems administrator or has enough certifications to cover a wall a Subway. The majority of computer users are beginners that want to learn how to be more productive at home or in the work place. So what does it take for a computer trainer to help students learn the computer? Try keeping the computer sessions and information simple and fun. Every trainer has a big responsibility to teach others what they know so the student can be more productive. For people of a certain generation, computer consoles are something that are somewhat alien. Fighting robots, taking on someone else’s personality or flying a B2 bomber is not of interest to the majority of people who didn’t grow up with computer consoles.

Currently on the market there are three primary consoles – Sony’s PS3, Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and Nintendo’s Wii. All fantastic consoles in their own right, they each offer players a unique gaming opportunity, whether that be fantastic multiplayer options, amazing graphics, physical interaction or simply having some of the best games created available for them.

If you’re stuck choosing between the PS3, Xbox and Wii, whether it’s for yourself or for a gift for someone else, as each console has its own amount of dedicated followers, the best way to decide which is the right console for you is to look at each of them a bit more in depth than simply seeing what they look like in the shop’s catalogue.

1. Sony PS3 – entering the console market in November 2006, the PS3 is a progression from the PS2, which itself was a development on the original PlayStation, first released in 1994.

When they were initially manufactured, Sony’s console was the most expensive at over 400 pounds. However, over the years they have steadily decreased in price and it is now possible to pick up a cheap PS3 for under 200 pounds. 2. Xbox 360 – like the PS3, the Xbox 360 is a progression from a previous console, this time Microsoft’s 2002 console, the Xbox. With the 360 first released in Europe on 2 December 2005, it has had a very much peaks-and-troughs life so far, receiving fantastic acclaim on one hand but heavy criticism on the other, largely thanks to its faulty hardware. Nintendo Wii – long been associated with being at the height of console technology, Nintendo released their Wii in November 2006 and according to their Financial Highlights report, published on 29 October 2009, the Wii has outsold both the PS3 and 360.

Whilst the Wii may not be as boundary-pushing in respect of game graphics as the other two consoles, what makes the Wii different is that it doesn’t use conventional controllers. Opting for wireless devices, the whole focus of the Wii is to immerse the players in the games completely, which it does so well, allowing for players to be a baseball player one minute and a toboggan competitor in another.

Choosing between the Sony PS3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii is a difficult decision. However, by making sure that you know all of the facts on each of the consoles, you should be able to make an informed choice on which is best for you.

A refurbished console server often comes with a warranty and is in good condition. Functionality and durability come first where these servers are concerned, so forget about getting the latest or the best looking model. Price-wise, a refurbished console server costs much less than a brand new one, but slightly more than a secondhand unit.

Aside from the price, you have to know what you want from the console server you buy. The majority of these servers are single-port units, which means it can be accessed by only one person at a time. In contrast, dual-port servers are more efficient as two people can access it simultaneously. It always pays to read the information printed on the box of a server before you buy it you can glean what features that particular server possesses, and ensure that it is the right fit for your business or company.
